Bouncing Back From a Psychic Attack

If you’ve ever felt unwell or out of sorts after a hostile interaction with someone, especially where you were not the aggressor, there could be a good reason for it. You may be under psychic attack.

A psychic attack is a type of assault that uses negative energy directed towards an individual or a group. These assaults aren’t always intentional and they don’t require any black magic or dark rituals, so it’s possible to attack someone without realizing it. You don’t need to be sensitive to be attacked, but if you are, your risk is higher.

While it’s most common to occur following a highly charged argument, there are many situations in which a psychic attack is possible. Simply having strong antagonistic feelings, thoughts, emotions, or intentions toward someone can trigger it. It can be intensified if there is physical touch involved.

The effects of a psychic attack can vary, depending on the individual and the intensity of the attack. Some people may experience physical symptoms, such as headaches, fatigue, or nausea. Others may feel emotionally drained, depressed, anxious, or scattered.

Protecting oneself from psychic attacks is best done proactively by setting up clear, strong boundaries. Meditation and visualization are good tools to use to create an energetic ‘faraday cage’ around your body and aura. You can make it any shape you like as long as it extends a good 2-3 feet out from your body and has an impenetrable outer shell. If you are mentally, physically and emotionally well, have good control of your emotions, and are well grounded, you’re not as likely to become a victim of this phenomena.

However, if you find yourself experiencing the above symptoms and believe you’re under attack, there are many things that can be done to remedy the situation and reverse it. The key to success is to act quickly. The sooner you take action, the easier it will be to remove the harmful energy. 

Here are some steps you can take to protect yourself:

1. Stay calm: It is important to remain calm and centered when dealing with a psychic attack. Fear and anxiety are low frequency moods and can cause the energy to burrow in deeper, making things worse and/or doing more damage.

2. Ground yourself: Grounding is a technique that can help you connect with the earth and feel more centered. You can do this by standing barefoot on the ground, or by visualizing roots growing from your feet into the earth.

3. Visualize protection: If you don’t have your faraday cage created, you can visualize a shield of light around you that protects you from negative energy. You can also ask for help from your spirit guides (everyone has at least one), or guardian angels.

4. Cleanse your energy: Take a salt bath, burn sage or palo santo, or carry protective crystals such as black tourmaline, black obsidian, or jet. Wear them on your body and sleep with them on the nightstand or under your pillow.

5. Seek help: If you are feeling overwhelmed or unable to cope, or just want to take extra caution, seek help from an energy healer, such as a Shaman or Reiki Master.

Remember that you have more power than you realize to protect yourself from psychic attacks. By staying aware, grounded, and centered, you can minimize the effects of negative energy and maintain your well-being.
