In 2017 I began studying and researching alternative health care practices after struggling with my own health for years. Previous to this I had a very strong immune system, and was mystified as to why I was experiencing this odd and significant change in my health. I found a clinic that offered integrative health care, and was surprised to receive a prescription that included yoga, nutritional supplementation and mindfulness. 

Shortly after this I started researching other health professionals implementing similar integrative approaches to healing, and how some medical doctors were starting to refer their patients to shamanic practitioners to try to pinpoint causes of illnesses so they could better treat them. It was around that time that I discovered Reiki, and felt strongly that I had to learn everything I could about holistic healing so I could pass on what I was learning to others.

I was fortunate enough to have a Reiki Master who was a horse expert and had worked with many other types of animals. Under her I learned the special energy of animal Reiki, and witnessed firsthand how pets and farm animals respond to energetic changes in their environment. We have a lot to learn from these souls, and I knew very early on in my journey that I had to work with them as much as possible to fully understand the power of Reiki healing.
